Some mutual friends from Beaufort tried to put us in contact this summer. I also just arrived in Istanbul and am one "village" over from your school. Ortakoy is probably where I will do my shopping, so it would be easy to meet up and compare notes. We had our first orientation week and are now off for the bayram. Campus is totally dead, but a great chance to explore the city. If you want a bit of SC, holler!
